Well i crash my baby this past weekend the week before i took her up and trim her out and she done fine i ran the engine a little more on the rich side and the engine stayed running week two went out to get a better fill for my model lean the engine out some so it would stop spuderring on the top end take off was great did about six passes getting ready for the final approach the dam engine die on me and as you guy,s no the p-40 do not float at all she went down hard and boy i can tell you i,am still hurt i put a lot of time in this plane but anyway i have replacement parts on the way and i,ll do it again i will not give up on this beautiful bird i,am going to keep at it until i get mine RIGHT hey guy,s i may need some advice on own somethings so if i call own you guy,s please be there for a follow brother p-40,s for life top gun reed
