I believe the same thing happened to my T1 mini. According to Dirk it was sent back and reshaped. Sucks but what can we do?

Well, the more times they go back and forth to China Post and the longer they sit in T1's shipping department, the chances of being damaged goes up exponentially. Dirk said they're working on other shipping options. That was on the 8th. I asked if shipping it DHL for additional money was an option but he didn't respond. My patience is wearing thin.

Rather than post here, wouldn’t it be easier to just contact Dirk directly? I’m not sure how often he checks this thread ...

I do check with him but don’t want to bother him during the holidays. I was just curious if anybody has received them after the postal situation. Also, if there is any more advice in the setup and flying them.

I'd imagine more delays could be experienced once the Chinese New Year comes about.

They used SF Express for my JMB T-7A. Other than customs taking a week and customs breaking my plane, it was pretty quick.

I received my replacement plane today and looks great. No shipping damage that I can tell and glad it came in before the CNY. Dirk gave me a shipping tracking number and it actually came in two weeks early. No need for picture since it’s identical to my other one

Can anyone recommend a LiFe for the turbine? the KingTech 2100 seems a little large.

Thank you.

Can someone tell me the positioning of the KT 45 G3 to the pipe? The pipe seems a little short. We have the turbine set all the way back on the rails and it doesn’t seem to reach

Default Finished

Well, we think we’re finished up. Batteries being charged, CG checked, transmitter settings need to be tweaked and picking up JetA at the airport. Otherwise, it’s RTF. We’ve flown lots of Kingtech’s but this little rocket is intimidating to say the least. Wish us luck.

Tiny little guy. Took two lazy afternoons and Hysol jail overnight

Ultra small batteries to keep weight down

We’ve test run the engine. Had a bubble that caused a shut down. Rebooted and restarted, it ran perfectly. It’s an amazing powerhouse. We took the flying surface throws off the webpage. Only thing not seen was flap/elevator mixing but we set up OTF programming for that so should be easy to trim once airborne. Running the new Spektrum PowerSafe 12 channel and an AS3000 gyro.

Good luck!!! (If you haven't already had the maiden).

I thought you might like to see what has become of your original Micro:

Good luck on the maiden! I assume you have auto restart on? My k45g3 flamed out on the first lap after takeoff and I wish so badly I had the restart function on. Now I've fixed the jet up, but I'm too afraid to fly it Think I'll wait for less humidity and cooler temps. Three jets have gone down due to flameouts at my field with this engine now

We’ll look into the restart set up.

Jeff, looks good. I’m glad you were able to salvage the airframe. I hope you were able to give them some input after looking it over

It's Bob.
I'm friends with Jeff and we fly at the same club. I did get it from him and Dirk on "scratch and dent". I'm working on the manual and a detailed build thread. I've got about 40 flights on it and loving it.
