How is the wing loading compared to the larger version?

Really looking forward to this. Looks like something I'll easily be able to toss into the back of the SUV without removing the child seat or even prop on the passenger seat of the sports car.

That is a good question. After they scaled down the original T-1 to Micro size, they scaled the wings back up a bit to help keep the wing loading more favorable.

Cheers,

Oh i want one! Something like this could be flown in the ballfield down the street in rural no-where WV instead of driving an hour to the flying club.

You could move back to Florida! 😂 Divorce? 🤔

That’s great that the designer increased the wing to lower wing loading.

I assume K30 in the back (no pipe) or K45 in the middle with pipe? Am I reading that drawing correctly?
Im also assuming the same electric retracts as the T-1 Mini?

Excellent! I’m hoping for some great paint schemes with this Micro just like the Mini version. Once I see pricing details and specs., and I like it, I’ll order it ASAP.

I was going to wait for the next batch of Sebart Mini Avanti S to be in stock in the US, but I’ll order this instead if the price is right in PNP form like they do with the Mini T-1

Can the stock pipe, assuming it comes with one, be used for a K70 (since it is the same size and almost identical in weight as the K45), or is the diameter not appropriate for the extra thrust?

Just out of curiosity, why 2 wing versions?
Wood for the K30 and composite for the K45?

T-One Models originally was going to make the wood & Mono coat / Ora coat covering to keep the cost down. I personally would rather pay a little more not to have wrinkles or peeling mono coat and have a professionally painted, full composite jet that will last a life time. So, per my request, Mr Kim agreed to make both versions and it now gives the best of both worlds, those that want a cheaper version or those that want a full composite jet can make the choice they want. The Micro T-1 is intended for the K-30 or K45. We also know someone is going to stick the K70 in it because it is the same size as the K-45 and in my opinion, the full composite version would be the smarter choice.

Cheers,

Dirk

I've been sitting on a micro sports jet design with a 'different' look for a while, not been able to produce the kit myself but happy to engage with a manufacturer and share my design for possible production.

Are they trying to target the Harlock Viper 140 price point? That airframe is full composite, $629, but was 10% less before Xmas at $560.

Itc, no this is a more radical sports jet design well suited to a small turbine mounted right at the back so no pipe etc, just need a manufacturer who would like to work to bring some new smaller jet kits to the market.

The Orion is a lovely jet, there is a chance I can supply more of these jets in the future as the guy I worked with on this has still got the moulds and has made a few tiny changes to the kit, he is also doing a Mig35 soon too, not huge and equally well designed.

Looks very nice, I’m guessing that fitting all the equipment inside and hitting CG will be a bit of a challenge?
It just seems like the smaller the plane the more difficult the install ...

K -45's are installed in 80 mm jets like the Habu 32, they land and fly fine ... just over powered.

Micro T1 looks bigger than a Habu 32
