4th year of hosting the local middle school on their field trip in three separate groups by class. A private school group also show up unannounced during one of the sessions. Over 300 students were given an introduction to the basics of aeronautics, the relationship of math and science, and occupational opportunities, by our own Lance Campbell of SR-71 Blackbird r/c model fame. They were then bused to the flying site where they saw a flight demonstration of the Blackbird by Lance, as well as other turbine jet aircraft by various pilots.
