i am also interested in how the new version...

i am also interested in how the new version preforms, not currently flying mine either, i had a issue with a elevator servo unplugging itself in flight caused a roll out of a turn and straight down....

well i just broke down and ordered the graphics for my R2 from CFC Graphics. nice guy to deal with. hes a real Gee Bee lover!! hes got a nice Gee Bee Z that is up for sale from the Don Neill plans.

i think i will get used to flying this bird for a bit, then maybe add smoke, the mufflers are already tapped for it so its just a pump, tank and battery

well guys, i got the baffles installed in my gee bee and flew a second flight. overheating issue solved!!! did a bit more trim first half of the flight and wow does this bird go!! started getting...

so far only this one flight, adding baffles to cowl to keep the engine cool. hurricane sandy had it too windy to fly this past weekend. maybe this coming sunday

here is a few pics from the first flight, pics are take off and landing, i killed the engine just before touch down because i was running out of runway. engine sagged (overheated) and did emergency...

i am so close to maiden flight of mine, finally got the timing set right on my 3w 150. ran a tank of fuel through it today what a powerhouse!!!! almost couldnt hold on to it at full throttle!!!! come...

on mine, i now have aileron servos installed, rudder servo installed but need cables attached still. still have elevator servos to mount as well as engine servo.
using 3w 150 in mine. going with...
