Guys, this was his second CARF Gee Bee! Lost the first one on the first flight, as I remember.
So this one went 30 or so flights? Hard to lose at any...

Did you relocate the gear forward any? On mine, I moved mounts forward and canted the gear as well. the front mount hole is raised and the rear is lowered slightly to pitch the gear forwards.

Push on the rear bulkhead, chances are you will dislodge it with little effort! The adhesive is termed"cake frosting" around here.
The only remedy is to remove all you can and reglue rear...

You did not by chance weigh the major components before and after painting,did you?
I would guess that the painter sanded most of the old paint off before painting.

I now have a 3W 150 QS CS that has Johnson mufflers.
I have not mounted it up yet, but plan on using the stock type mufflers with the option that I might alter the outlet pipes to exit rearward...

Jimmy, when you go to MTW website, look for the small flags near the right side top of screen.
Click on the left one and the page converts into English !

The wires from landing gear to belly are 2mm stranded cable.
The others are actually streamlined and are 4.7 mm wide by 1.1 mm thick.

This was discussed way back on page 10,Dirtydingus commented that his plane has 4 1/2 degrees per side.At least that was how I read it. You might go back to page 10 and read up on it yourself.

The motordome is molded with the correct amount of right thrust.
Do not trust factory marks on dome to mount to fuse.
Find a way to use angle gauge and rotate dome until gauge shows only right...

Be aware that your repairs will add weight so far back that you will need to check C,G, when complete.A few grams in the tail will have big effect up front.

Or, you could do like "Rickster" and hang a 3w 170 on the nose!!
I doubt that his will need much nose ballast !!
