Hi,
does anyone that fly in this area know a gentleman that goes by the Rc Dossier [email protected] ? Just wondering , I'm in the process of possibly buying an engine from him and the number he has listed "isn't set up to take incoming calls . "

I don't know the guy but I will warn you that there's been a rash of fraudulent sellers of late here, FG and RC Groups. Typically turbine engines, some piston engines, tx's and some servos.

So you are right to be concerned.

Thanks for the info. We agreed on a price for the engine shipped and when he sent the invoice , he added tax and paypal fees. I attempted to call him and that's when I discovered that something was fishy about him.

You might want to have a local person do a drive by check just in case, if the guy was in Miami i would do you the favor, but there should be guys that frequent here from Markham park which is there next to pembroke.
