Brushless rpm sensor giving false readings
I have a DX8 first generation transmitter (silver), AR7000 receiver, and a TM1000 telemetry module. I made wires with female and male bullet connectors with the rpm sensor wires soldered in the bullet connectors. I put these jumpers between the motor and speed control. When I tested it, I was getting upwards of 30,000 rpm which I don’t think my motor is capable of. When I pull the throttle back to where the prop isn’t turning any more, the displays shows anywhere from 4,000 to 7,000 rpm. I have a Turnigy G45 electric motor. Is there a setting that I need to change? Thanks
