I also worked on the leading edge flaps. Got the linkages hooked up and working. Now I just need to install the servos.
It it was not to hard but they are live hinged so need to make sure you don’t over stress them. I’m going to see if the factory can hook these up during the build so the end user does not screw it up.

yes originally it was designed for 2 servos per side. Now it has a link so it will work with only one servo. You could remove the link and use 2 but it’s a waste of channels.
2 vector nozzles
2 slats
2 flaps
2 ailerons
2 horizontal stabs
2 rudders
1 steering servo
gear
canopy
gyro
brakes
bomb doors
throttle
thats 19 channels.. so I’m on a mission to conserve them.

Right on just curious, I save channels with Sbus, I can put all flap and slat servos on one channel with all programming in the servos. This Jet made me list me beloved rebel pro! Thanks for sharing I hope this one goes better than the 18!

This is why I can’t do bvm the new big stuff is all PNP and they don’t sell just the jet. So I’m glad this is just an option, but most folks now rather pay and play. I like the build and play myself.

Hey Rav,
Not that it makes a big difference, the PNP included the lights installed so you can take $595.00 off that price. I think if you look at BVM or Skymasters PNP's in the same class as this jet, both of them are probably a few thousand more at the end of the day equally equipped. Oh Wait! That might be hard as neither of those companies offer functioning missile or bomb doors, CNC'd thrust vector nozzles and true scale lights like this F-22 has. I have to say that I personally think T-One Models construction and details put Jet legend and Skymaster jets quality as second class citizens!! The PNP price of $3,395.00 may seem high but when you get 13 servos, all the air controllers and electronic valves, fuel systems parts, lights installed and all the rest of the garb needed to complete the PNP, it seems like a pretty good price when we all know guys have paid $2-5k just to have a guy assemble a jet with no equipment. This still may be a big pill to swallow, but you know the difference between men and boys are the price of their toys. This is definitely on my radar and will be a new member to my hanger in the near future!! Keep the posts coming Gunradd, love them!!

I like the rudder formation or slime lights as we call them, what do they look like with the lights off. Hard to tell the design in the picture. I will definitely get the lenses but will use a BrainCube set in it for obvious reason.

I was told by some BV reps at Georgia Jets last year that they have heard that from many customers and they will now sell you non PNP versions upon request. Not sure how the pricing will be for an empty airframe but they will sell you one.

Well ghostrider1, I have multiple jets that I have paid $12k+ that ARE NOT pnp, so I am no stranger to big ticket stuff!
Granted, those have been Bob Violet’s models. I like to build so I’d be closer to under $10k for this jet, which is quite reasonable if well designed and flies nice! I’ve never had a pacificjet jet before.
The only F-22 I flew, a jet legend, had flaps that would blanket out the elevators upon full flap extension, so I would land it without flaps. Imagine the pucker factor the first time I went to land and my elevators had no authority! Ack!
Gunradd, more pics please!! And we are loving this thread man!

well I didn’t want to post much on the panel lines since that will be fixed on the production ones. They sent me pics over the weekend and they are in the middle of making an entire new set of molds with the correct panel line depth.
For mine I am using filler primer and regular filler and a crap load of sanding. It’s getting their but very time consuming. Allot of the panel lines are ok but some where very exaggerated and takes allot of work.
Ill take pics pics when I’m done with this part.
