I'd recommend baffles even with the fan. Air will still take the path of least resistance, which is not through the fins. Force the air to go where needed.

Firing order is 1-3-2. The top cylinder is #1, cylinders are numbered clockwise, same as direction of rotation.

I'm struggling with the logic behind rotating during break in on the bench. Surely induction pressure far outweighs gravity on such minute amounts of fuel.

Post #11 confirms the addition of the master rod bushing. As of this writing only the FG-60R3 has the bushing in production.
