5% is likely enough. Not 25% anyway. There is no need for idle or anything, and it would be hard to get replacement parts from the last millenium motors.

K&B 1L was a pretty standard plug for that time. The Fox plugs would bend the element and fail. I would use a low nitro fuel, even though they respond well to nitro. I think the cranks are the weak...
