I used a modified Robart dual strut. I will look up pics. in order to stabilize it inside the formed gear enclosure i used expanding foam inside it. Looks like it is sturdy but time will tell.

I decided to go the hard way and build my GeeBeeR3 from plans I picked up on ebay.... never again will I build a short kit. ARF is the way to go or a kit.
Will post pics soon as I am getting...

scratch built from plans I picked up on eBay.
However I am modifying it as I go. I didn't realise what I was getting into until I started sourcing it. Next time ill stick with a kit
