CRRC 26cc carb question
Hello
Im looking for a used Walbro carb, a WT 714 for a CRRC Pro 26 V2 engine to be exact. Im hoping a crash survivor maybe. Its a long shot but I may get lucky.
I looked for a wanted area in the classifieds but I didnt see anything.
Thanks guys

Just about any Walbro carb commonly used on RC gas engines in the 20 - 30 size range should work on that engine. About the only critical thing is whether the engine uses an internal or external pulse line. If your current carb has a line going from the engine to the cover on the pump side of the carb, it is external. No line, internal. Check with someone like Valley View RC or Mile High RC. They both have a good selection. Modify the linkages to fit if necessary.

The carb uses an internal pulse. Because of the age and value of this airplane I'm trying to avoid a $50 repair. Guess thats why I'm looking for something used off a crashed or grenaded engine.
Thank you

Well considering the age of the engine, buying used you could be buying someone else's problem! Sometimes its better to just bite the bullet and buy new. If your engine is in good mechanical condition, it’s probably worth spending the extra money. Heck, if you were local to central Iowa, I have several good carburetors I would give you free!

Hi Truckracer.
Your exactly who im looking for. A good used carburetor at a fair price. I have a rebuild kit to freshen it up if required.
I have the kit # K20-WAT and will rebuild a good many # walbro carbs. If you would be willing to box one of your spares up to ship , I would send pp funds to cover your expense. "never hurts to ask"
A choke butterfly and internal pulse line were original to my engine.
Thank you

Just like you suggested, the number 24 is behind the choke butterfly.
I appreciate the time your taking.
Thanks
Jim
