- Lifelong modeler...started control line at 3 yo in 1946. Dad started RC in 52 and I started Rc in 57. Joined AMA in 56 to go to 56 Nats at Dallas Naval Airstation. 26 year Army career retired in 94 and had 2nd Chance Hobbies from 96 to 2011. Served on AMA Executive Council as District VIII VP from 2007 through 2012 and was a member of and Chairman of AMA Safety Committee...still serve on that committee.
Wife kids and grandkids have all flown...wife. son and I are Life Members of AMA.
