HI,
Does the same work for the rebel hot? I have the full sized pipe and couldn't figure how to install it.

My CARF Hott pipe goes in without doing anything. Slides back below the rails

I had to slightly squeeze the bell mouth to get it to fit between the turbine rails to clear the former at the front of the turbine rails. Once it’s clear, you can push it down towards the bottom of the fuse and it will slide back and in to position. You may have to squeeze it slightly again to get it to clear the former at the rear of the turbine rails. Once you do it once it’s pretty easy to get in and out of the fuse.

Colour swap Infinity Rebel is just about there. I’ve had it a couple of days to clean up the owners install a little.
Test run the JetCat P-130 and we are ready for restrictions to end.

Dave,
Its a little off topic, but if you were using Powerbox Core radio for a Rebel Hot - what equipment would you put it the airplane?
Thx!

I’m using the powerbox Mercury in my hot and wouldn’t change a thing, works flawlessly and the gyro holds perfectly

I have a Hott to finish and I can’t decide whether to go Mercury or Pioneer and iSat. If you are using HV servos the Pioneer is lighter and a cost saving. If you need a V3 Sensor switch for 5.9v then you should go Mercury as the cost then is pretty much the same. The Mercury is a nice neat compact unit I find myself using in most things

Would you recommend two (2) 26D receivers with either Pioneer or Mercury?

My color swap came in. Lighting stinks, but the Blue is nice, silver is a metallic.I heard these are going up in price because of container issues?

I think I ordered this in November/December. My UF took much longer. I ordered that late last summer. It just came in with this rebel.

Looking good.

Yes I noticed when I was on carfs website last week that the prices went up a few hundred across the board on everything.

Im glad I got my pro on order before the increase.

I test flew the Yellow Infinity Rebel last weekend, Hans off, 1 peep of aileron trim and we were off. I got the ‘old boy’ who owns it to check the balance as I flew it. To make it easier for one person to check it we did the same as my Viper check, remove the wings and check the balance with just the wing tube in, tailplane fitted, landing fuel in main tank-in the std CARF tank that is approximately 3/4” showing (hopper full) and top canopy on. It balances 3/8” (9mm) in front of spar.

I am thinking about a Carf rebel classic. I have a set of JP electric gear with 3.5” main wheels and 3” nose wheel. Besides a possible problem with leg lengths, would there be a problem with the 3.5” and 3” wheels? The Carf JP gear looks like it uses 3” main wheels and 2.5” nose wheel. My gear weighs 3.3lb and I see that the Carf JP gear is 3.0lb which would not be much of a weight increase.

‘The best solution if nobody measure their CARF JP, is to get the plane and test fit them first.....parts are readily available just change what ever you need...

I was hoping to catch up with one of my customers, the larger wheel might need the opening trimming very close to the root rib. Reducing the length of the legs would be the answer, but that is not easy with trailing link and bigger wheels.

Dave. Thanks for the response. Yeh. I have been thinking that also after looking at pictures on the threads. I have the feeling that after i get the plane I may end up biting the bullet and getting the electron gear.
