I can get a 2M Rebel to my door for what it costs to buy that Havoc before shipping is even considered,

My HAVOC SS was about the same price as a Rebel Pro once you buy the fuel tank, pipe, retract with the RB45 and no smoke tank offer so after market for that, and Havoc SS included Pipe, Electron retract with GS200 and fuel and the smoke tanks, on top of that a beautiful paint job..... I build one of each.

What I’m seeing is the havoc ez with pipe tank and jp gear and shipping is only $100 more than a rebel classic arf plus

I have watched a few youtube videos of the Rebel 2m with 85-100 turbines. They didn't look under powered. There was an EFD version that looked a bit sad.

Wow I think it boils down to what jet you like the look of better. Money is secondary unless your decisions are based on that.

Any Havoc I have ever handled is a brick compared to any CARF moulding. There is no comparison, if as I understand the new Futura models are made in the same factory, they require a back brace too. The fin on a 2.5 Futura from the box weights 100g more than a larger Mephisto Fin, servo, arm and linkage.

Hi,
Does the Electron gear fit in the Rebel without mod's to the mounting plate? I noticed the Electron gear are less wide as compared to JP, at least in the ER-30eVo size compared to what JP gear the Joker and Rebel Hot use. There is about a 1/4" gap to fill.

I just flew my Rebel again after almost a year. Flew great but man, I forgot how light it is and how much it floats. Does anyone use Crow with this bird and if so, how much?
Thanks,
Tone

More flap needed, but CROW can help especially on the Pro and Max

more than the factory flap numbers? What do you suggest? Would more flap make it harder to get down?
Thanks,
Tone

No idea what the manual suggests, I’ve set it by eye each time. As always there is a cross over between lift and drag. I’ll see if one of the guys I have set up can measure.

On a lightly loaded airframe you always need lots of drag/lift dump.
