I've found some led drivers that are inexpensive and really simplify the installation of led's. They are used instead of resistors and require no calculation. They have a wide range of voltage inputs and allow for changing the source voltage and not needing new current limiting resistors. Here's a pic of one installed on the wiring harness. As you can see, it's very small and is on the right of the pic next to the plug. I left the tiny driver exposed so you can see it. Next, I'll slide the provided heat shrink tubing over it and shrink it.

Let me know if there are any questions,

Thanks, Gary. I made the grill out of some metal window screen and I realize it's not completely scale. I figured that the "bobbed" M-35 wasn't in the military (as best as I can tell), so I could just make the grill any way I wanted!

More on lights
And I need some input on night lights for FPV. That's right, I'm gonna put a camera in the passenger seat and drive with goggles, including at night.

Gary, I use these on my excavator for night work. 2 wired in parallel at around 3.4 volts.

That depends on what part of your body you scratch when you are 3D building something. One time I was told I wasn't really a scratch builder --- I was just an assembler of plastic parts that I made just because I was too cheap to buy them ready made. Honestly, I would love to produce the perfect parts that a 3D printer can make. The 3D parts that I have seen on this forum are absolutely beautiful eye candy and make me wish I was 40 years younger, a rich kid, and knew what to do with a computer besides play solitaire.

I hear ya, Rex, and for an old hippie like me the hardest part is the computer stuff. But I'll get it, because before i die I will see a 1/16 scale meillerwagen convoy approach, deploy, and launch a V2.

Interesting work on the trucks so far.

I could see where these might have application in my tanks, too. But, do they help with voltage, too? In other words, make a 3V LED work on a 5V circuit? Looks like it's just an amperage limiter...but, if it could tweak voltage, it might help solve my UV LED problem in my airsoft tanks.

I'm using one of those regulators to tone down the fan above the FPV TX in the Hetzer. I need to pick up some more.
I just educated myself about LEDs today. Once you know the formula it's a piece of pie, and I've known Ohm's law most of my wretched life.
But, I'll probably try one of those current limiters, just to check it out. The problem is that I'm a cheap buzzard and i can get a bunch of resistors for the same price, enough just from our local electronics place (waaaay overpriced) to wire 6 LEDs for the price of one with the current limiter.
