The 599 and 9930 are very close in torque, the big difference is a brushless motor costs more and is initially quicker from the start, whereas the coreless is smoother from the center as it moves...

Think of it as a sponge so when fuel as away from it , there is fuel in the felt pickup.
Changed my Pro from metal pickup...

Tom, you only lose telemetry if the Rex7 loses signal then the Rec3 steps seamlessly and it is only of tenths of a second.
Harry doesn't prefer clones but in noise signal-filled areas it's the best...

All Lipos even Lion lipos need to be balanced when charging unless Jeti has a Mirco device to help balance the charge.
So using Rex& A 40 with those dipoles will help you get 30-40% better signal...
